About Dan

Call Dan Dan the real estate man

Dan Mullin is a South Bay native and resident who loves working and living in the South Bay. He was born in Redondo Beach at the South Bay Hospital on Prospect and raised in Torrance before moving to the Palos Verdes Peninsula which he loved.

Dan has always had a sense of adventure so after graduating from Miraleste High School (RIP) he packed up the 67 Mustang and headed to the snowcapped mountains and beautiful red rock deserts of Utah where he continued his education at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City earning a BS in Economics. Utah was a perfect place for Dan who loved this outdoor mecca where he would mountain bike, rock climb, ski, hike, see live music, drink beer and of course study monetary theory, fiscal policy, the Federal Reserve, supply and demand graphs and the Laffer curve.

In 1987 Dan was back in the South Bay and got his real estate license and went to work for his parents who owned a Century 21 franchise. He figured he would do this until he found a real job. Almost 30 years later he is still waiting for the real job to come up and bite him in the ass. In the meantime selling real estate is what he does.

From the beginning Dan realized there are some things he really enjoys about selling property. He enjoys the relationships with his clients, negotiating deals, and helping clients accomplish their real estate goals. This part of the job is very gratifying to Dan. He can live without the paperwork, the expenses, the pointless real estate ads, self promotion and the uncertainty of a 100 percent commission job.

Dan has sold property in every South Bay city except the gated community of Rolling Hills (there is still time) and in all price ranges up to his highest sale of $5,100,000. His focus over the years has been residential property however Dan is selling more income property as many of his clients are looking to diversify their portfolios. Dan enjoys working with both buyers and sellers.

Dan prides himself in his negotiating skills and knowledge of the market and the area. He is not a pushy agent but gets the deals done! This is what keeps him in the upper echelon of real estate agents across the country. He has been a member of Remax's Platinum and/or 100% club ever since joining the company. In 2009 he was inducted into the Remax Hall of Fame and continues to be a top producer just like every agent who has a website or promotes themselves.

Dan lives by the beach with wife Hayley who owns  Dan's son Chase is a freshman at the University of  Utah his daughter Mogan is 23 and worked for him after graduating from University of Washington.  She is now living in Park City, Utah working for Deer Valley.  Dan's greatest joy is watching his kids grow up. For fun Dan surfs, kiteboards, snowboards/skies and loves photography.

The flexible schedule of being a Realtor gives Dan the freedom to give back to the community. This manifests itself mostly as a volunteer coach. He has been involved in coaching many youth soccer, volleyball, and basketball teams and well as having taught numerous people to surf. Dan has coached or helped coach many kids in the South Bay over the years and is impressed with the caliber of kids coming out of the area. The future of the South Bay is in good hands with these quality kids coming up.

Dan would love to help you if you are thinking of buyer or selling in the South Bay. He is also available to give you an idea of what your home is worth or to just have real estate questions. He also has contacts across the county so if you’re moving out of the area Dan can you hook up with a good agent wherever you’re going. Call, text or email Dan at 310 871-3058 or
